So my new job prospect requires entry to canada. So I got an EDL becouse I don't qualify for a passport becouse of old felonys. The edl says it allows entry to canada and back to the US. My recruiter says one can still be denied at the border becouse of felonies even tho I have an EDL. Does anyone know if this is true. I find it hard to beleive I qualified for an edl but could still be denied at the border. The felony I have is over 8 years old and I was a juvenile at the time. Was not a violent crime. Any help is appreciated.

What does the English Defense League (EDL) got to do with going into Canada..??
can you speak English, French??
and anyone can be denied at any time. -
Well, I don't know about EDL, but I do know Canada is very very strict about Felony's,no matter the crime. Your best bet is to call them directly and ask yourself ahead of time.
