Well I went to the border and went into the office. The canadian officers did a background check on me and said I shouldn't have any problems becouse my records are juvenile and they didn't see anything so bad that I would be stopped.

Shouldnt your juvie record be sealed?
Or is it a deal where they can still see it because they are the all powerful gubment? -
The juvie record would normaly be sealed. But in my case they decided not to seal it after the cops picked me up months later walking downtown drunk at the age of 16.. And yes the almighty government can see records sealed or not
-
Oh i know they can see the records when needed, just wasnt sure if that was the case.
Still not sure i follow as to why it wouldnt be sealed since 16 is juvie. Im guessing you probation carried over to you being 18, did you violate when you where in probation? -
It may be different by state. But in washington if you get in trouble as a juvie they will wipe it clean if you complete probation with no other trouble. So yea I got in trouble while on probation which made it so I couldn't seal the record.. not for free anyways
-
Well that escalated quickly

How are you still barred from obtaining a passport because of a juvenile conviction? Were you shuttling cocaine and fugitive Nazis between the islands?
