EGR #2 out

egr #2 not callibrated is the code I'm gettin....thinking it's time to replace the #2 EGR, right? Not bad since I've got the egr's shut off and I've gotten over 18 months on this one.

Question I have: Does the engine retard the power some until the egr is fixed? seemed to lose some power when the egr went down, but since it's not recirculating into the engine (cause I've got it shut off) I gotta think the ecm ####### the power some until replacement. any ideas??

 

so if no derate in power, the only way it will lose power is if it's stuck in the open position?? if so, when i get home I'm gonna weld it shut!!
