So, 2012 780 D13 61,000 miles. Get a 4752 code that is EGR Cooling Efficiency. Replaced sensor, flashed the ECM and fixed. 400 miles down the road code appears again and lo and behold it needs an EGR Cooler. They told me that it was plugged. Plugged?? Did I mention 61,000 miles? What kind of crap are building nowadays? Not looking forward to the next 61,000.

Depends on whether or not there is something leaking into the EGR system.. we had a coolant leak into the EGR system on one truck and it took out the entire EGR system and the DPF filter... turned the PDF from crystal / solid into mud.. plugged the entire exhaust system..

If there is any coolant leaking internally, it will mess things up fast...especially DPFs, don't feel bad, we have DD13s and 15s with less than 20K having those problems.
