El Dorado KS 54W/77N out of route ticket

You’re in a truck, thus you take the truck route. It’s say under that no trucks except local delivery. You missed it. We all have. Pay the ticket and move on.

 

You get to pay big bucks by doing what gps tells you, in stead of what the your eyes and common sense tells you. Thats whats bad with the new breed of drivers we have now. they can't think for themselves . A machine has to do it for them.

 

this just happened to me... exactly.
100 plus 90.... officer told me no points.... like a script... they probably rake in 1000 dollars a day on that stretch... did you get points taken away?

 

This just happened to me exactly as you ..three years trip plan obsessed... 54 was the straight line to Eldon.... and bam before I knew it lights on another Victim... thay stretch rakes in 1000 dollars a day... unsuspecting trucker/suckers daily with a dedicated cop... doing the dirty deed...no warning just revenue cop told me no points.... did you get no points.... hope you answer this

This exactly happened to me just now 100 bucks .. 90 court cost
.. obscure street sign... clearly a truck trap revenue stream...for El Dorado.. Cop assured me no points will be assesed to my license... He could of gave me a warning
.. but this trap is clearly paying the bills.... in podunk Kansas..Did you get points?? please answer this.

 

Obscure street sign. Lol. The same sign is clearly posted on every side of town and clearly says to use the truck route except for local deliveries.

I used to pick up ag chemicals in el Dorado years ago and the story i got was that the locals got tired of the boneheads in trucks roaring thru downtown using theyre Jake's at stop lights .
Sorry op nobody is picking on you and I got the same ticket in Carizzo springs tx about 4 years ago because I had my head up my posterior.
Pay it and move on .

 

The signs are very obvious. Unless you don’t read signs. That is a major part of this job. Just saying.
