Proving that EVERY demand for data & research is just an invitation to ignore the data & research & argue about opinions about word definitions & emotional guesses & mind reading

We both know it's not about safety. If safety was paramount, they wouldn't let people drive that aren't natural born citizens. Congress is simply bought and sold by the corporations that truly run the show.

Smash all competition until the entire country's transportation system is controlled by a handful of people. A practical monopoly like they're achieving with every other aspect of the nation.

What does natural born citizen have to do with driving. There’s a whole lot of natural born citizens than are even worse than foreigners on visa. Also don’t forget that this country was built by foreigners.

Unfortunately it’s the American greed that is biting this country in the arse. And the one who feels it the most is the working class. American farmers, corporations and companies absolutely love and enjoy cheap foreign labor and everyone knows it.

Natural born citizens are fluent in English and have a firm grasp of our transportation culture ss opposed to someone who was most likely driving a donkey or camel a few weeks before arrival here. If you're looking for an endless argument or debate about this you're barking up the wrong tree.

Mind-reading bureaucratic intentions from 10 years ago.

Another of The Great myths in trucking is being built on TTR:
"If I can guess why this regulation was implemented, and I disagree, maybe I won't have to comply."

We can add it to "I was ordered by a cop to drive over the illegally parked car".

I’m not natural born, fluent in 3 languages, finished automotive degree, been working since I was 14 and know many trades. There ya go, I think you’re barking up the wrong tree. The way CDL is tested has nothing to do with where person was born. You have Tyrone who was born in in USA, and needs synthetic urine to pass drug test, and you have Piotrek who was born in Poland and drove a semi through roads and mountains that are way more difficult to manoeuvre than what we have here. I do agree that that language and knowledge play major factor in this industry, however most natural born Americans are also under qualified, yes I said MOST.

Well, good for you. You are not the average work visa meat in the seat citizen killer as most of them are. The majority are not like you and most of them are only here until their visa expires, they're imprisoned or deported after they've killed or injured those born here.

On that one I agree with you. Visa holders shouldn’t even drive for Uber in my eyes. Bad apples are everywhere these days, biggest issue is that MEGAS control everything including the government. Until today there’s still driver shortage that’s shown on the idiot box, looking at dat and truckstop there is freight shortage as well as pay shortage.

Who has won this war? ELD providers should have but even there, they can be and are decertified at times. Qualcomm has done alright, even other providers use their products and services, and if we look back at who voted it in, their representatives had the easiest sell. The DOT is mixed, from my experience, some love it, others not. A POTUS even pushed for it as a way to reduce the 'onerous paperwork'.

Now, as to who has lost the war, anyone who has been adversely affected, and I have to count myself in that number. Slipseating with those who don't have to use them is a pain, every blanking time, when I have to clear a few days of shag runs before I can even log into it. Last time it was 43 'trips.' Some were live haul runs getting live poultry from growers. I know what the things cost, and I keep track of it anyway, so it literally saves me nothing in time. The other thing was different and multiple devices in the same fleet, some even in the same truck. Having to keep that all straight is not even close to being as straightforward as a logbook staying with the driver.

If anyone in the world who wants a better life can move to America or Europe we are condemning all other countries to a poor & miserable future.

Do hotel guests get an equal say in making hotel business decisions as the owners & managers?
