ELD makes drivers speed to beat the clock?

I plan to hit the shoulder or next off ramp and wait out the delay off duty. There's no sense burning up your drive line for looky-lous or because people haven't learned yet how to share the roadway.

 

Well, seems to Me, Drivers are speeding more. Maybe I’m Driving slower, true. But even the Truckstop parking lot, has never been worse. There’s always been an idiot or 2, but now, it’s worse.

 

That's why I love doing my 4.5mph moves. It drives those white volvos and the swift trucks absolutely bonkers.

 

You're not creating much of a hazard if you're turning into a parking lot...

 

If the 30 seconds they are behind the person going slow will make them late, they have more problems than one slow driver.

 

Doesn't work that way. First there aren't thousands of trucks behind him. Second, even if there are, it's thousands that are 30 seconds late because they are unable to plan. The other millions that can do their job will be fine, if a bit annoyed.
