Have you tried pulling the fuse with the eld on so then it can reboot itself. Thats what i used to do. I pulled the fuse in the fuse box. Took me awhile to find the correct fuse though. If that dont work call the manufacture and give em the numbers on back of unit and they will reboot it.

I have had it rebooted had the relay on the dash replaced wiring replaced and rebooted replaced the wire connector behind clutch pedal thru firewall still not reading truck movement correctly
-
Also did take power away at fuse panel and replaced power there

Those are 2 different things. You can not use the fewer than 8 times in 30 days exemption. What you posted here is not the same thing as that exemption it is the "my eld is not working, I must use paperlogs" exception.

You be smarter but not suggesting exemptions that aren't applicable nor necessary.

What version?
Did you connect the 2 Data can lines? Should be a yellow & green wire -
Xrs and the mechanic I paid 668.00 to started to add a new harness that would directly add those two yellow and green wires. But stopped after talking to omnitracs the harness he made connects under dash to omnitracs wiring has two other connectors one connects under dash but dont know where third connection would come from?
