That's pretty interesting. Did the kit include wiring and good instructions? Is it wired to be controlled by the ECM?
I'd make sure you have them mounted good or those plastic mounting tabs will eventually break off and your fans will be sitting in a pile

I hit some pretty nasty bumps this week especially through shreveport, la and south carolina on the 95 south, also up north through TN and VA. They held pretty good....I put locking nuts on everything.Oxbow Thanks this. -

That’s interesting.
I might have suggested going to the junkyard and looking for Taurus or Corvette fans. They’re shrouded and have amongst the highest CFM numbers of any electric fans.
There are big power, working show trucks running electric fans, so I won’t discount them being viable.RubyEagle and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I’m surprised there’s an electric fan application available. From everything I’ve read, there hasn’t been one developed that’s powered enough for a Class 8. I like the idea. Tried to find one in the past. Seems I heard a clutch fan engaged can cost up to 60 Hp. I’ve ran them engaged for long times, due to a bad air seal. Usually at least 1/3 mpg loss. Adds up quick. An electric would pay for itself.
