These Cascadia's leak water somewhere between the windshield and the cab seam. I have tried everything, resealing the windshields, resealing the cab markers, resealing the factory cabin seal between the markers and windshield and still manage to get leaks. I have towels placed inside to catch as much as possible.
Anyway, to the point, on rainy days and when it gets real wet inside (2010 Cascadia), I'll be driving down the road and my horn will starts its own symphony, intermittent blast, some long blast, but eventually it cures itself.
I feel your pain, one night when I pulled off and was asleep my horn woke up my neighbors, needless to say, I was unpopular that night - I had to shut off the master switch to get it to stop - the next morning it cured itself, did I mention that it was also raining that day?
Good luck. -
Got same situation, horn woke up me . Checked out wiring on steering all good . Now just thinking what to do . Cascadia seems to me doesn’t have relay I am guessing , so SAM . If, YES , I am giving up then . It wasn’t rainy , dry weather . I hate electrical problems like that

I dried things up, went back in the shop, and that’s when I heard a horn blowing. I ran outside because I thought maybe someone was trying to get my attention. As I walked towards my truck, the driver side fog light was on, and then the sound of my horn was coming on and off. Annoying as crap. I got the steering wheel cover off and unplugged it to no luck. Then it stopped. I payed and when back to the truck, and as soon as I got near the hood, horn started going ham again!!
I just wanted to get out of there.
Just my luck, drivers are pulling in, and looking at me like I’m crazy, because it could’ve been misunderstood why my horn was blowing. I waved one driver to go in front of me as a sign of curtesy, and of course when he’s just in front of me, the horn goes ham!! He’s throwing hands up like, wtf?? I’m throwing my hands like my bad your good, but the horn was doubling down!!
I pulled over, popped the hood, and boy it wasn’t a good idea doing that not knowing exactly where the horn is. It was louder than what it sounds like from inside the truck. As close as I got to it, it pierced my ears like crazy!!!
I finally got it unplugged and hoped for it to dry out wherever the water was causing it to engage.
I got back west and thought, let me plug it in. Sure thing, it stopped. But not for good.
I went on vacation and was gone two weeks, when I turned the main power switch on to start the truck, you already know.slow.rider Thanks this.
