Have a W900L. When I hook to a trailer the lights on the trailer go off. I can turn off the parking light switch in the truck for 30 seconds and turn back on and they come back on for a little while. It happens with several trailers (but not all)and they have all been checked. Any suggestions on what to try to fix this problem? Thanks!

I have a 2013 international that will periodically kill the brake lights the fix is to remove the fuse and put it back in again.

Sounds to me like a circuit breaker is kicking under load. Very possible it's weak even when new. Try this......open fuse panel and ID trailer breaker, keep engine off for quiet and hook to trailer. Turn lights on and listen for click and feel breakers for hot one. Might also be relay and might be under hood to boot.
You'll find hot one or hear click. Problem is this won't last for too long, breaker will give up.
Also take a look / change pigtail. Possible short in either end...seen that too. Helps if shop / buddy will loan u one for a few minutes for test.
That's where I'd start, good hunting. -
Try a different trailer cord, and clean the plug socket, easy check to do.
