When you plug in a particular device into a cig lighter port, and you see the RF meter on the CB radio go up significantly, is this "noise" being transferred through the power supply or via the antenna RF?
I'm having trouble finding a quality cig lighter > USB adapter that's not "noisy". (If there is such a thing). Even on separate circuits I'm having the same issue.
Would a noise limiter at the CB power source help?

Disconnect your antenna... is the noise still there? If it is, the noise is coming through the power feed. You can try a snap on ferrite choke over the power feed for your radio.
If the noise goes away, try shielding the plug by wrapping it with aluminum foil. It's the noisy switching power supply that's generating RF.rabbiporkchop, FullMetalJacket and STexan Thank this. -
I have this one hard wired into my Tahoe with zero noise.
It might be worth trying.
