I'm trying to see if i understand something correctly. I see multiple plug in inverters that go to a cigarette lighter. If i had a game system that pulled 150 watts, and a tv that pulled 30 connected together would i be ok with a 300 watt plug in inverter

I had one of those plug in inverters. 300 watt. The thing struggled to power a laptop.

On your inverter it will typically state it's output in watts with a "peak" and a "continuous" rating. I would first power up your game system and let it boot and then stabilize then turn on the TV, if possible. SOME devices pull about twice their rated-power for the first second then drop down to normal. If the number you posted are accurate they should work with your inverter. -

Looking at the owners manual it says the following for the game system a max rating of 150 watts and the tv just says 28 watts.

Company policy really doesn't want us idling. You think upgrading to a 400 watt would work, i can't have a hardwired inverter
-
I am assuming you don't have an APU either honestly as soon as you get enough exp if you don't have it already find a new company no APU no inverter not allowed to idle... That company doesn't give 2 shots about its drivers just my opinionRedRover Thanks this. -
We are allowed to idle just has an automatic cut off. Im fine without the game system honestly. Its funny when you're in a truck you have to pay attention to wattage at your house you could really care less

You won't be getting 300w from a plug in inverter. It's more like 120-150
