    Anyone run one of those small 2 stroke 1000w generators you find at a Harbor freight or similar? Wondering if they are quiet enough to actually consider on the truck? For $80 bucks I think I might pick one up just to see.

    I wouldn't waste my money on one of them. Screams cheap to me.

    I have been trying to figure out how to put a couple of solar panels on the truck and charge a big deep cycle for running a power inverter.

    Cheap being the key word...for the money I sure wouldn't expect much. BUT I have ran into "decent" things there before. LOL
