In the jungle, we have elephants and all the other smaller animals.

Ever seen a skinny rabbit? or skinny deer? nah. why, coz there's plenty to eat for everyone...if you know where to look. Hopefully hyena's (DOT) dont get ya...LOL

I agree completely. It seems that plenty of people wanna stand up for things that make no sense and stir as much negative crap up as possible. But when. It comes to what's right or just what makes sense you hear crickets.

Crickets doesnt mean people don't want to take a stand or put the effort in to support something. Sometimes it means the cause isn't worth supporting. Ooida is a perfect example of picking the wrong battle. They focus on elogs when elogs aren't the real issue. The real issue is the current incarnation of HOS. But that doesn't get membership dues collected and keep them in their cushy offices.

I'm not so sure we will see any rates going up. We might though. What I do expect is either a loosening of HOS to allow for poor dock times, or shipper/receivers having to actually pay for holding a truck for 8 hours It may take a few years, but I do see that being the biggest change from elogs.
