I read in another post where a driver got audited and couldn't show logs to document per diem claims. How do y'all document when on elog? Keep paper logs too? I keep a journal of miles/hours/where overnight but don't know if that would stand up for tax purposes if audited.

You should be able to print out your logs from E-Logs.

Pay stubs may not reflect where the driver was. Mine only showed load numbers.

year/month/day/location of your 10hr/what time you got home and what time you left home, etc.
Putting the load # in the diary will help cross-reference your diary with your trip sheets and your settlement sheets. -
If your on Qualcomm you can email them to yourself every week. Just request logs and enter your email. Takes 5 seconds.
