No rank. I'm not. It honestly reads like you are saying the megas had to go to elogs so forced to run legal, which puts them at a disadvantage. You keep emphasizing their drivers couldn't run a log book so are at a disadvantage compared to an independent that can.

Elog, or paper the hos is identical so where is that disadvantage unless it's the independent is running non compliant? It certainly can't be in the 20 bucks a month costs.

The only way to decrease the number of uneducated truck owners is to raise the entry barrier. That would take more regulations. And everyone here says we are already over regulated.

They may have pushed for it, but it would have never happened without the high oos rate for non compliance of hos that the rest of the industry was getting.

I guess I'll be getting a chip implant soon because they want to track some criminals might as well track everyone.

MINIMUM $20 a month per truck plus hardware costs. Do you think drivers are going to run E-log software on their own personal phones? You must be obtuse.

I think you have a selective memory. Sure the ata has been pushing it. Why? Maybe to put an end to all the fly by night yay hoo's cheating on log books. I think you need to chill with all the insults. I have said I can see you argument. You have a problem seeing someone else's argument. That's fine, but no need to start with the insults.

BS. The log violation rate wasn't bad at all and half were for GF&M.

Back office hardware or in the truck hardware? Back office...every independent already had a computer at home. In the truck, if you don't want to use your phone, buy a 50 dollar tablet.

So one time cost of say 350 bucks after tablet and the eld. And 20 bucks a month. Ya...thats a real big competitive advantage that independent had on the mega.

One time cost? Yeah right. Driver drops it, sells it, gets a virus, more like 1-2 devices a year. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Then don't troll. Done with you two. Throwing pearls before swine and all that
