Trump kicked out the lobiest and is over turning some major ****ed up laws, maybe we get lucky and his people are watching what the people have to say and he will overturn what the big companies lobiest have done?

Mr. Trump, take us back to old school.

    Thanks

    Jace379 and Oxbow Thank this.

It's simply flat out wrong that a driver/company with ZERO log violations would be forced to spend time and money on this nonsense. It's anti competitive corruption plain and simple.

HOS are a different argument than Elogs. I agree that the 14 hr rule is screwed but still a different problem than Elogs.

Cost has nothing to do with it.

I DON'T WANT TO ADMINISTER THE EFFING THING AND I DON'T MIND REVIEWING LOGS SHEETS FOR TWO TRUCKS AND I HAVE DRIVERS THAT CAN DO MATH AND TRIP PLAN AND I SHOULDN'T BE FORCED INTO THIS I HAVE NO LOG VIOLATIONS.

I have one truck that this rule applied to....model year 2008. I told the driver I will sell it (it's a POS ISX DPF anyway) and buy him a '99. He said no way too old. I said I am not looking after any Elog BS. I suppose he will be done and I guess the Mega Co. will get what it wants.....another small driver gone.

Interesting how this will play out. Did he quit or is he fired? If he's fired without cause he is owed severance pay.

If you never buy a newer truck then you will never know how nice it is, keep restoring your old ####. it's just better for now

Pfft. Nice? Really? I drove that 2008 T660 when it was new and it was no more comfortable than my 1998 T800. All they changed was the dash. Who wants rocker switches anyway

If you take care of your truck it should last a career.

I wasn't saying it to be a jerk, I love pre 2000 trucks, I own many, I was saying it's better to keep the old trucks then get a new one. I like new truck smell but I'll take my dirty old trucks any day over a new one.
