    Spoon feed em. Seems too many have a hard time grasping all the information when you give it to them completely...

    I thought, and take into account this thread was started by my misunderstanding of my own log situation..., the local hourly "no log" option was only available if you start your driving at a client with a punch clock and end there and punch out to validate your hours.

    It is not an option for parking at home, or the nearest walmart.

    I park at home. My "time clock" if you will, is a piece of paper. I just happen to use the logsheet to show my start and stop time. Keeps the sheets with me, I can switch to it if I go over the 12-hour limit, allows me to adjust if I suddenly can snag a great paying load outside 100 miles. Shows continuity for the last 7 days.

    I get what you're saying now. I had to do a double-take. If you can do both jobs in under 12 hrs then yeah, you wouldn't need to log it.
