Please try to include the following (This is for the US and Canada)

    Road/mile marker

    Direction

    Lat/Long if known

Right. Because I'm going to search my GPS for the nearest runaway truck ramp when I'm headed downhill and my brakes fade away... :)

Seriously though, why would someone want a POI file for those? Those things are always well identified with regulatory and advisory signs when you're on a route that has them.

You can set the distance and sound to let you know they are ahead of you... Not everyone is familiar with all of the roads and where they are. Esp, Monteagle, they are on the left.

I run mostly at night and can't usually use a break check area because a bunch of a-holes are parked there for 10hr breaks. I guess the OP wants to be able to plan to park overnight at a break check area by making this POI. That is the only reason I can see why. The are usually well marked a few mile out and same for the runaway ramps.

A POI is just that, a points of interest. This custom POI is strictly in the interest of safety, not a spot to park at.

POI's are build for many reasons.

Everyone has something to say, but no one is helping the op out..

Sorry I can't give you the mm, but just east of Monteagle, TN, I-24. As previously mentioned, the runaway ramps are on the left. The mandatory brake check area is on the right.
