I ran into a guy who does logging in New Brunswick at the tire shop one day, he had deleted his, the constant banging and smashing off road kept cracking the dpf filter, apparently they are ceramic..., he got derated and had to tow it out. Was still under warranty but had it done anyway.

The Alberta advantage. Taken right out of the CVI manual in my hand. Just inspected a deleted bus 10 min ago

SL3406, Pamela1990 and Oxbow Thank this. -
There gonna be brand new trucks, so I don’t think you have nothing to worry about until warranty expires. Just kick up the idle if you need to idle. Do a force Regen every few weeks(depends on application). I do a forced regen on mine every 2 weeks and I use a diesel supplement about twice within a service(10-12,000 miles). Other than that, I might get a few ghost codes but they go away.

Yes many laws are slacker in Alberta.
BC stands for Bring Cash, and our laws suck. -
Thanks.
What diesel additive do you use? -
They also have a winter blend for your part of the woods.

Many swear using Howes and others, and I’ve tried them, but this has always worked for my application.

Really nothing at all until 300k miles. Just follow the factory handbook. Change the oil, fuel, and air filters and your golden with those engines.
