Amazing story man. Are you solo or teaming to make that much? Or just super high paying freight per mile on Schneiders load boards? I would love to know more on how your making that much.

Did you get hired with your HAZMAT already, or did they help you get it upon hiring, and give you like 30 days or something? Tha'ts amazing pay for starting off.

Where do you work making this? That sounds pretty good. Why do you want to go back to Schneider, since it seems where your at is paying pretty good?

I already had 18 months tanker+hazmat experience running otr with snbc. Its not hard to get the endorsement and they'll train you in safe handling. The only thing you would need within 30 days or whatever would maybe be a TWIC card. But I use mine so seldomly...

I'm Solo, all in my fixed costs are $1,103 per week which includes a maintenance fund.

How I'm "making that much" is mainly because I'm paid on % not no $0.90 per mile.
Doesn't have to be here, Landstar and Mercer are similar in that they also pay % and you can pick your loads.
Biggest difference is Schneider will lease you a truck if you want. The load board is point and click and then the load is yours and the info is sent to your truck. Plus a lot of drop and hook freight.
Those other places you gotta deal with brokers for loads. Which I guess is personal preference is you want that kind of operation. There's more BS to put up with dealing with brokers vs here but there you can build relationships and connections which is valuable also.
There's good and bad loads here I'm sure like everywhere else including Landstar.
For me % and picking my own loads is the only way to go, there are other options in that.. Schneider isn't the only one but no two programs are exactly the same.
No matter what do you do be sure to do your homework.

    Pacific Islander Thanks this.

What kills me, is that I still fall for this s*** for the first few seconds. You would think I would have learned by now.
