I recently left a receiver after delivering a load and they left a filler bag and some pieces of wood. I need to have the trailer cleaned of any debris. However I dont have anywhere I can discard the leftovers here in perris California where I pick up my next load.

    Any ideas

I know you are a gentlemen and you won't do like 50% of the pigs in this business and just go to the back row and dump it out the nearest truckstop, or any empty lot you might find.
I know the broker says it must be clean, but worst case plead with the shipper. It is not the first time it has happened. If they want to load your truck, they will help you out.

You should carry trash bags on your truck... Sweep everything you can into the bags, then take the piece of wood and put them in your side box until you get to a place with a garbage can...

Pop the filler bag and sweep the debris into the bag. Find a dumpster.

If they don't have a dumpster, sweep it into a bag, tie it up and set by your doors. Close your doors and boogie. Next pick up/ truckstop, drop it in a dumpster. Good to go.

And remember this won't be the last time for this to happen. Some trailers look like a war zone when they get unloaded. They should have the receiver be the one to sweep and get rid of the big stuff, but that doesn't usually happen. I have worked in a warehouse, years ago, and don't understand how they can manage to breakup the pallets like they do.

Before you leave the dock, pick up the trash and put it on the dock plate. Walmart is notorius for that. Its thier crap. I come to the shipper with a clean trailer either washed or swept out. Thats how its leaving the receive. And when the open the door tadaaa, they will pick it up anyway
