    So I'm curious on other peoples empty weights. I'm just shy of 44,000 full of fuel, 389 pete 2018 so all the emission crap of course, 280 wb. 53 foot lowboy with slide outs. Only a 5 axle set up. Seems like I'm to heavy.

    I recently got a new rgn, went from a 48 to a 53 and I was only 37,000 with my 48. Thinking a made a mistake.

    Our company trucks with a 48' 55 ton dual axle talbert with a top deck weighs 45,000. I don't think you have much to worry about. Especially if you only run permit loads. Though a flip axle wouldn't hurt to have.
