Now that you've mentioned it, all of the female staff I've seen have short hair. That could be a coincidence or a policy enforced across the board.
Ever see a shop worker who lost their hair or other body parts due to hanging bling, clothes . But it's just this it's all about me area we are stuck in right now.
It's funny watching people say they will move the mountain to get a job at TMC. Then all of a sudden they don't want to follow the companies policy and wine about it.
If the hair rule is applied to everyone I don't have a problem. It's when you hear only certain hairstyles are targeted that I will question the reasoning of any company. Spare me the safety tip, I have been a hazmat tanker driver since the start. Fracking, crude hauling and chemical transport.
I’m not judging but it’s really hard to take someone seriously when they walk into a week long interview with dreads.
Guys, we are on day 7 and I can only assume (safely) that this guy (OP) and I have to guess his roommate, both left day 1 for whatever reasons. That being said there is a guy in the shop with a ponytail and green hair and I have seen ladies walking around with long hair. That being said, customer-facing employees (drivers) have all had short hair, trimmed beards, and no green, blue, or pink die or the like.
We got ~8" yesterday and they brought out 4-5 plows and 2 bobcats for the pad and still wasn't able to keep up with the snowfall, so they sent the guys that were supposed to practice backing home after a qualcomm msg stating all TMC trucks were to be parked if they were within the storm. Today they had 2 plows out there clearing the ice/snow so that my group can start back maneuvers tomorrow.
