En route to Des Moines, Starting with TMC.

Well, it's been ~3 weeks since this threads OP and yesterday was test day.

Of the 10 students remaining from day 1, 10 of us passed pre-trip and backing, and 9 of 10 of us passed the road test.

1 guy failed (missed a gear, couldn't recover and coasted greater than the length of the truck/trailer.

He'll test this morning, and hopefully, gather his nerves and knock it out. Last weeks class lost 4 guys on test day (I believe 1 or maybe even 2 of them did so on purpose so as to not have to be on the hook to TMC for 4k). They're probably going to rent a truck/trailer and just go take the test at their local DOT and go somewhere else from there.

Either way, I'm done and will go pick up my CDL this weekend, and then fly to my trainer.

 

Good to hear they're flying you. Seems like the days of bussing differs around maybe over

 

Did you get paid the 500 like they say you do during cdl training?
