End my 2 year trucking career?!

Yeah but the thing I take away from others is they are in a rush to get their kids into college thinking this it will provide them a job when they get out. The other thing is college degrees are cheapen now thanks to the flood of ways to fund them, the colleges get the money, they are now just mills that churn out graduates without really any education to speak of.

i hope shes studying how to cure world hunger so we arent still talking about it in 30 yrs like we been talking about for the last 30 lol

i thought we could just let the smart people with degrees figure it all out, with all the degrees people are getting things are sure to get better lol

Just my “single” thought.

It’s time for adult children to become adults.

My mother was a single parent, with 3 kids. Each of us paid for our own education. Which allowed her to eat on a regular basis. And not worry about NORMAL household bills.

Sadly, all of our degrees were wasted. I came into trucking, another became a teacher, while the other edited software. None of us hold a degree in our chosen path.

My money says your daughters degree will amount to the same. Most do.

Just a side note. Your daughters education is not something you can count on in your old age. In 15 years, she’ll be struggling with her own children and bills. And taking care of mom will be a VERY low priority.
