Much like the 379 I bought last year, I'll go on market place and find an old set of American made tools or a 40 year old floor jack before I buy anything new

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion...
Me personally.. it's more than just a tool it's a major portion of the business I have worked to build for 30+ years.....I don't have a muliti million dollar empire but I take alot of pride in what I do have
No different that a good professional mechanic.. he doesn't go to Wal-mart and buy the 12.00 socket set to make is living with .. if he does .. I don't want him.near anything I own

There are two schools of thought here. Yours and mine. A hunk of metal and plastic it may be, but I take care of it, and it takes care of me. That, my friend, is loyalty.

And in a year or two, the people who keep their 389 will still have them, and the people who trade every couple years will move on to the next model. Same as they have all through time.

Have to park the truck somewhere, plus storage and office space. Boom, house is a business expense. Just call it a terminal.

I was recently at my Peterbilt dealership and he mentioned that next year was going to be the last year of the 389. He also mentioned that the price tag is going to be around $300k (CAD) before taxes. Its always been a nice truck. Since I bought my 567 I felt that is the hybrid version between the 389 & 579.

From my experience, the Snap On ratchet wouldn't even make it to 25% body weight before it craps out. Easily the worst ratchet I have personally ever owned. Only lasted long enough to not even tighten 1 bolt between rebuilds 4 and 5 lol.
