Got one of these that I bought back in early 2000, quit driving in 2010. Thought I might come in handy but I ain't using it no more will sell cheap. $300. Here's the deal, it was still working when I unplugged it in 2010, but I put it in the back of my SUV and it's been there since . I HAVE NOT opened it since then, so I'm sure it needs a good cleaning, but it only has one of those 2gal coleman plastic water jugs inside. This thing has a built in inverter, so if you go to a motel, just plug it in to the ac outlet. It will freeze stuff fast and keep it frozen but I just used it for milk and ham, bol, chz and the occasional Wendy's salad to go. It has metal handles, but they can be removed via 4 Phillips head screws.
When new, with shipping I paid close to 1k for it. Do some research, Engel coolers are popular with boaters and the outback crowd.
I'm pretty sure mines the mt45 model.
