I have a 2007 international 9400i with isx and I have 2 fault codes on my dash. When I hook up the scanner it showed
Sid 27 variable geometry turbocharger actuator #1
Sid 156 voyage above normal or shortage to high source
Engine codes issues

Going to PM you a question. Don't want to derail your thread.
-
Engine warning light on, or running problems?
-
My check engine light does not come on bulb is good. Only light that comes on is stop engine. Even when you turn the key on.
-
As far as problems when driving when at higher rpm in let's say 8th gear it's will lose acceleration and the stop engine light comes on for about 5 sec then goes off and 5 seconds later I have acceleration again.

Ok, you have to be careful with those scanners because they can lead you astray. Your scanner is reporting the VGT with that code, but Cummins code for that same SPN/FMI is the EGR valve out of calibration. This turns on the yellow warning light. The 156 doesn't list as an spn for Cummins at all. I recommend having the codes read by Insite.
djxman Thanks this.
