I am driving an 05 International 9400I with a Cummins ISX engine. I have 3 fault codes with which 2 I have figured out what it is but the third I can't seem to locate what it is. The first two codes are a 128:f02 PID 131_P and 128:F04 PID131_A Which is erratic or high voltage at tps correct? The third that I cant find is SID 081 136 F05.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The 136 is an ABS address. Is it displayed exactly as you typed it? The LCD display isn't the best at displaying the codes properly and does sometimes display phantom codes that aren't really there. The LCD display should never be used for diagnostics because of this. A proper code reader should be used. A code with an "A" means it is active, "P" is for previously active, or inactive. Do you have a Check engine, or ABS light on?

No ABs light but my abs kicked in today on wet roads. Possibly threw the code then. I have three lights on the dash concerning engine lights/warning lights. I have stop engine that is red check engine light that is amber and also a warn engine light that is amber. The last one the warn engine light comes on and goes off. Today it was on most of the day. No abs light lit at all and all the lights wok in a self test. Thanks for the reply.

The codes displayed are also SAE format, not manufacture fault code format. This means the P131 is not engine fault code 131, but SAE fault code 131. You are right, Cummins fault code 131 is for the throttle pedal. This isn't the code you have. Your actual fault code is 2373, or 2374. This is for failed Exhaust back pressure sensor or circuit. The sensor itself is the likely culprit. Sometimes the connector and the terminals can get corroded and cause this code. But this is what is also causing your engine light.

Where would I find this connector to check and make sure it is not damaged or corroded?
