    Hello,

I am new to this forum and not sure if this is correct category to post. I am going to purchase another truck and I have pictures of a oil leak all over and under the engine. If anyone can give any advice?

dealership will fix and provide 3 year extended warranty. 2019 Volvo with Cummins X15. Do you think its still a good idea to go for it? What should I be aware of and what should I negotiate if so? More experience fellow drivers out here so I would appreciate your help. I attached the pics

I would ask the dealer to fix before purchase. Then you can see if it is fixed. If they power wash the motor you might not see other possible leaks for a few thousand miles.
The Oil pan gasket seems to be part of the leak.
But, It also looks like oil might be coming down from the front of the motor.
Get a mechanic to look from a different shop.
Is the warranty bumper to bumper parts and labor?
    Good luck.

2 filters that look like they ain't been changed in years, front cover that looks like it's been apart, rust like it's from up north, then there's oil leaks.

Is this truck ridiculously cheap? If not, keep lookin

A reputable dealer wouldn’t even have that truck on their lot..they’d send it to auction.

Why even waste your time with that pos when there’s absolutely no shortage of good used trucks now..

No kidding. My old man's trucks were 10x cleaner than that at that age and they ran in the bush most of their lives along with salt in the winters.

Crankshaft engine rear oil seal was replaced. It has 900k clicks, Im in Ontario Canada and the prices here are ridiculous. This one caught my attention but they are willing to fix anything plus im getting a 3 year extended warranty. This exact truck is in BC canada. What do you guys think?

900k on a 2019 means it was rode hard and put away wet. Absolutely nothing good will come out of buying that truck.

Does that extended warranty cover previous abuse? How about towing, will it cover it?
