I have a 2007 International 9400i Eagle with a 450 ISX. I live in Phoenix and haul to L.A. and San Diego pulling a flatbed. I started having an intermittent Eng Warn light flashing mostly in the hotter areas. It will flash once or twice together and then about 30 seconds later another couple of flashes and so on. Once over to California it goes away. Had my mechanic hook it up to a computer and the fault code reads "Ext Fuel Command Input Voltage Above Normal X63."
Has anyone had a similar problem or if anyone could shed some light on what could be the issue or potential problem I would appreciate it.

I ran into engineer of cummins at TA He said they have a design issue with isx.something with the pistons not fitting well and the hole expanding causing friction which causes cracks he said cummins knew about the flaw but still put them out

Check the hose clamps on all of the hoses running from your radiator and coolant reservoir for looseness or small cracks. I had a similar problem last week and discovered that at high temperatures the hose/clamp was expanding enough to make the cpu think something was amiss.

Do you have a Cummins fault code number?

Ok.good info. I'll give that a check.
Na, sure don't. I'll try and get one and re-post.
