    For a variety of reasons, der govermental iduuots do not want manufacturers making something that will last 40 years. (California). My Freightliner is the perfect example of a throw away truck, plastic everything, but Freightliner is making so much money selling me and everyone parts that they are defeating the government wishes. Money....
    Now my 1956 Studebaker, that's a solid set of wheels. No plastic there.

    Hi Triple, I hear ya, I like all those things too, and you're right, watching them in action is so much better(except, I'd add top fuel dragsters) Museums are ok, but a little boring. And good analogy on the smokin' hot wife, but don't kid yourself, the reason the old man is sleeping in the other room, is because the smokin' hot wife is an idiot! (Get a "curvy" girl, she'll love ya for ever, if you don't piss them off ,that is):biggrin_25525:
