While specing an ISX motor for my new 2014 KW T800, I got a piece of info from my local Cummins dealer for the HP/TQ graphs of the particular ratings I was interested in. Here they are for those who interested in EPA 2013/2014, CM2350 ISX Signature series with 550/2050 and 600/2050.

Interesting that the hp graph shows almost no drop in power from 1500 rpm to redline.... Most new engines are gasping for air at those higher rpms.
Tks for for posting it . -

Hey crazy question having never bought a new truck. When picking your motor do they charge more based on hp and torque? Or is it like the extended warranty 450hp and lower is one price and over 450hp is cost way more?
I know spec'ing the drive line will cost more depending on tq rating but always wondered about the motor it self. -
A regional manager at cat once told me " we sell hp". Each jump in hp costs more $$.

Anyone know what it would cost to have a cm2350 550/2050 turned up to a 600/2050?
