Odd that ur running out of Memphis... I left Memphis after spending 10 yrs there; ran my own truck 8 yrs off the island. Got diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and spent 11 yrs in KS. I could have taken an Estes dedicated linehaul run out of Wichita February last year but with the Coeliac I was too skeptical in running OTR 5 days out and 2 days off, which is what was offered me.

Man, I just completed 8 consecutive months running team, staying out 3-5 weeks before returning to the house!!! Got no qualms now in surviving OTR linehaul again... Wichita is hiring too, but after 21 yrs being gone, last year I returned to Oklahoma, right at 100 miles south. I’d commute for a linehaul position.

I think the maximum radius they will allow is 50 miles. You'd have to run out of OKC or move to Wichita. I personally have always gotten good runs from there.

    Wichita to Memphis
    Wichita to Albuquerque (tough run)
    Wichita to Denver

Come to think of it, I've never been ripped off at that terminal. It's very VERY small, but they're good people there. They've swapped loads and gave me bigger ones and everything. The yard guy is cool too.
