Just curious if anybody would know but I had a phone interview with estes last Thursday he said he was forwarding my information to the terminal manager then sent a follow up email for me to do a consumer report authorization and disclosure so is this standard procedure or is this a good sign they will hire me?? Haven't had a face to face with them but typically the background come after they meet with you. Any kind of information about their hiring process would be awesome. Thanks in advance

    sounds about normal.

i would call them in a few days to check on your application progress, shows them you really want the job, at least, this is what i have done in the past.

    good luck

I'll definitely give them a call hopefully bettering my odds. I applied almost three weeks ago to Sysco but still in the process mode with them to not hearing something is killing me. Thanks for the reply tho

I've had the phone interviews and the disclosure forms sent out with their terminals in Phoenix, Amarillo, and Denver. Still waiting to hear any word from Denver, and got the usual "canned rejection" email from the other two saying the found other people.
I'm still waiting on Shamrock right now, but at the same time, the current company has been good about keeping me on the shuttling roster. So at this point, I don't really know what to do any more aside from wait/make-mind-up.

Just called the terminal manager he said he hasn't had time to look at the apps yet I know it's a hectic job to run a ltl terminal but the hell if I don't feel like I'm wasting my time yet again lol guess time will tell. Thanks for the replies

I might try that again with the TM in Denver. So far, Estes seems to be the only LTL, or otherwise, outfit I'm finding that's offering two consecutive days off a week like what I have right now. Honestly, a combination of two days off in the middle of the week and pay similar to what I'm getting right now would be golden.

So far, no phone calls nor a cheesy canned email from the Denver job, so I'm guessing I'm still in the pile there some where.

I talked to the boss over at my current job and requested to just be kept on shuttling. Kind of gives me more time to kill seeking out other opportunities. Biggest thing now is just getting my pickup truck paid down or off before I go into a potentially lower paying gig in a different area. The small town thing is alright for now, but education wise, I'll have to move on some time.

Trucking companies just ain't the same anymore. Me and my buddy talked today and brought up how o/o used to actually paint their trucks with their company logos they took pride in who they pulled for now everything is stickers covered by other stickers. The local companies are even worst the drivers have become income not an asset. Hope all works out for you and you get something figured out
