ESTES - Will they hire me with 7 months LTL experience?

    That might not be so bad then. I always envied the linehaul guys. The only thing those guys touched was the landing gear when unpinning their truck after dropping off a set full of broken goods in the yard so they could drive down the road to their company paid hotel room!

    Man it sounds like there’s a lot of broken freight at Yellow from what you say. Haha.

    Maybe I'm crazy, but I actually enjoyed tooling around in the beat up old yard tractor, good backing practice.

    We'd call ABF 'Already Broken Freight', but from some of the things I've seen I do believe Yellow must take the lead in the broken freight department. Most of that was due to how each and every trailer is maxed with freight. 2,000 lb pallet of goods stacked on top of some fragile chandelier boxes? No problem!

    I actually felt for some customers, seeing the look of disappointment and desperation in their eyes, upon seeing their eagerly awaited fragile goods forked right through the middle or crushed like an accordion! :D
