Ethics Violations?

Ok just for the record they are breaking the law. I looked it up and it is an ethics violation. I think part of the problem with this country is passive people not willing to fight for the good causes anymore.Im not talking about seeing for money or profit ,but if more people sued over things like this maybe the tru king industry would be a little better. I know a lot of you are used to seeing it and just shrug it off ,but sometimes you got to do what is right.
Regardless of all that, I myself am a hard runner and try to do it safely.
It's really sad how some truckers just shrug off problems like this. One last thing, if the company has no problem doing this and feel no remorse or feelings about it, how much more do you think their taking advantage of you in other ways?

Many carriers have a cadre of drivers that are treated differently either by familiarity or performance.
OTR trucking is a piece rate job with exempt status. You do not have co-workers only competition for miles & in turn money. If your not a "friend" of dp your only way to succeed is by performance at a large company. But at a small company conformity & obedience is more important because you have less people to deal with that can affect your success.

Seems like this is just another case of someone starting a thread, then when they don't get the responses they were hoping for, they get an attitude.

Exactly right. The OP asked for advice and when he didn't get the advice he wanted and when the other members refused to validate his plans he became hostile.
That's not the way to get along here.
