If the OP of this thread wants to show us ignorant drivers that he can make more by working in Burger King, please do!

You complained about two trucks, get shuffled around to something you can tolerate and then complain that you aren't getting paid? You are lucky the company didn't just say "suck it up buttercup" and told you you had no other option with the first truck.

Can't take the smell? Go to a truck wash and get them to detail the interior. Or hey, here's a concept, do it yourself. I can't stand working in a dirty, smelly truck, but I don't ##### and moan about it and just clean it myself... off the clock. I'd rather take the few hours not getting paid to get it clean and smelling nice, AND ROLLING shortly thereafter, than take days out of my life complaining about it.

I feel like I'm from an entirely other generation these days.

I wouldn't take a smokers truck either. Plenty of companies that care about their drivers.

Clean the truck if you want to drive it. I don't smoke & have cleaned out several trucks of heavy smokers. It takes a hood thorough cleaning, airing out, and time
Whether you are paid for ir or not, they gave you a truck & you rejected it. You have no grounds to THEN complain about making no miles. That's like a driver rejecting dispatches & then claiming he's going broke. Gen X or Millennial?

I'd make them pay me to clean out their POS truck. I'm sure they'll complain if you bring it back smelling like sheit. So why take it, f that.

I get what you are saying, I have a similar problem with some odors but I also learn how to deal with it by cleaning the truck/car/whatever that had the issues. I went out and bought odor bombs that they use in car detailing and never had an issue after that, $20, the odor is gone.

$1,700? I call BS on that. If you actually DID pay that, you were ripped off.

The gave him/her two different trucks but instead of spending 20 bucks at Wal-Mart on some febreeze and other cleaning supplies they choose to have a hissy fit and lose an entire week chasing down a special snowflake non smoker truck.

tscottme, shogun, TripleSix and 2 others Thank this.
