Even the most thru trailer indpection

    Running over stuff. Hitting stuff. There has been lots of threads on the topic of why a simple curb should not be hit with a trailer tire while turning and tons of guys say “meh. Just hit it. Won’t hurt nothing. Just a trailer tire”. Those same folks either have lots of bad luck with tires or the next guy who pulls that trailer does.
    Funny thing is those same folks will cuss out a brand name tire for being junk or blame it on a retread every time.[/QUOTE]
    Lol I just picked the trailer up 2 hours before. Hence the in-depth inspection. Now I know thank you

    Here is the inside of a GoodYear I just inspected. It had been removed for a tread separation. The inner liner shows the separation actually started on the sidewall ply at the tread belt edge and migrated to the center of the tread. With air in the tire it looked like the center of the tread had a bubble in it and the sidewall showed no damage other then a light discolored scrape. How you think this potential blowout was caused?
