Ever been a worse time in recent history to buy a truck?

With the Russian roulette, the odds depend on how many rounds the revolver is loaded with. In this case, I'd estimate that there are 4 rounds in a total of 6 chambers.

 

Historically a 4 yr old Truck sells for half the original price. That’s my rule of thumb anyway. And it has to be above average condition, below average mileage. Same for used cars, at retail pricing. Not long ago, a 3 yr old emmision problematic was half price of new all day long. $131k for a 4 yr. old Truck that originally was overpriced at $145k New? I don’t think so. I wish I had a few to sell. The thought I can get almost enough to pay my house off for a Truck I paid $21k for 13 yrs ago is very tempting,

 

It cannot last much longer….Wall Street is already getting hit hard, and main st can’t be far behind

 

I agree but it seems that the higher then prices go on anything, it creates a panic demand. "I gotta have it, gotta have it right now!"

 

You are right sir. Lots of folks are selling! Investor confidence has been shaky end of last week. Lots of chatter over the weekend about next week.

 

Just like houses everything is outrageous now.Inflation gone crazy.

 

Yes like any commodity its all about supply and demand while there is a shortage of a product be it cars, wheat, oil , or trucks prices with go up according to demand that's the laws of economics unfortunately.

 

You wouldn't think so, but I don't see how prices have been this crazy for this long already.
