When they catch up to you, there will be interest added to the unpaid toll charges.

I was gonna say, I had an carhauler buddy who had to write them a very big check! Of course, he was blowing them a couple times a week for better than a year.

Try blowing the tolls in Oklahoma and see what happens. They'll call the Highway Patrol on you.

IL is weird, they dont send you bill right away. My parents in law in their 4 wheeler passed by one toll without paying, they figured they will pass all of them and then just pay the bill, which will come in the mail. Well, after 5 months I think, they got a bill for almost a grand

I am going to call you out on this.. not to be mean, but for your own good... no werner driver.. whether straight of the trainers truck or not can claim they had no wah of knowing something... werner sends out numerous of messages over the qualcomm.. often about not passing scales, what to do if your pre pass isnt working.. and they always end the message with "When in doubt.. Pull in"... it is often included in the quarterly safety cbts that as a driver you are required to do every quarter.. and there are numerous videos and information on pretty much everything and anything you may need to know on the drivers portal... and you can always get ahold of someone on the pnone to answer any questions 24/7.. so there is no reason or excuse for any werner driver not to know something they should...

You may take all that information on the driver portal for granted.. but not all companies provide hundreds of videos and information on everything from how to stretch to prevent injury, how to chain, how to fuel, how to pretrip, all about pre pass, how to eat healthy on the road, how to adjust breaks... how toto whatever you may need to frigging know how to do... so I am really intolerant to werner drivers saying they didnt know and were never taught.. we have access to information on anything we need or want to know..

Second.. proper trip planning... with proper trip planning you would of known where every weigh station along your route was... ever wonder what the Red Dots on the Atlas meant.. well, they are weigh stations.. and for more indepth information you can go to the driver portal and watch on of the videos they have on reading and using an atlas, trip planning, or how to plan your route...

I have a Rand Mcnally which alets me when I am approaching a weigh station.. but, I also know, because I go over my entire Route in my Atlas and before I take off I already know how many and where the weigh stations are... that is the difference between being a professional driver and just meandering down the road haphazardly happy to have A CDL ..

If you had properly done a trip plan you would not have had to wait to see the orange sign, you would of already been aware that you were approaching a weigh station well before the sign...

Maybe you should read a bit closer, or maybe have enough experience to understand what he his talking about. NY will regularly set up in rest areas with very little warning, distance wise. I'd love to see your atlas that shows you every little spot they set up in, because it doesn't exist. Pretty hard to trip plan for a portable popped up in a pickle park.

    MN does the same thing.

There is a rest area on 35N that you can't see going south. That's their favorite spot.

MN loves to set up on a few select ramps with wide shoulders, too. And there's one who often sits at the entrance to Manheim Minneapolis and inspects dump wagons and catches carhaulers without their seatbelts on.

They set up by the ADM grain terminal in St. Paul right by the rail yard that they dump cars off in. Name of that yard for the cars is escaping me.

I pull a hopper in there ocassionally. There were guys backing off the outbound scale to go out the other side last time I seen them there.
