Yeah I ain’t getting rear ended over some ####### scalehouse worker being bored.

If the ramp is full i ain’t pulling in.

a few times I’ll just avoid the interstate all together because 36k on tandems legal here if you’re not over gross.

Maybe you need to start carrying an extra bag of gummy bears to share when you head that direction. That should put them in a forgiving mood.

I am fighting a ticket now for missing a scale. TVC refused to help me fight it. The said they do not deal with skipped scale tickets.

It was pouring down rain and hailing. Several cars had stopped on the side of the road because of the rain. Lots of flashers on vehicles.

I didn't know there was a scale even in that area. I happened to look out the side of my window and I saw troopers on the frontage road. I thought "Dang. Did I just miss a scale?"

Immediately a trooper chased me down and I pulled over. I apologized and told him I had never seen a scale here before. He didn't say anything in regards to that and told me to follow him back to the scale house. This was on I20 near Colorado City, TX.

He ended up giving me a ticket for missing the scale. I think it was a stupid unsafe idea to have a scale open in that weather. I found out later that the scale was recently installed there. Pretty frustrating.

yep, pass that scale all the time, just use 180 and go south at some point if you need 20. 180 runs parallel with 20
