Ever blow by a Weigh Station when it was open?

How can you miss that monster green sign.? It cost him $694. For his slip, he continued to gripe, till he was stopped at border crossing going into canada. Lol

You must be referring to the Huntington scale. That scale is clearly marked with plenty of signage. The Huntington exit sign also reads "WEIGH STATION". It is kind of screwy that you have to take the exit ramp to a stop sign and then go down a road to the scale, but again it is well marked.

Blew by Cheyenne in my first year... drowsy and missed it. Was looking for a scale house on I81S in PA, just south of the NY line... didn't realise they meant the rest area. No lights.

A year later missed the one on I82S just inside OR, but went back. It hides off the highway about a third of a mile behind some hills. No foul, no harm.

Now that's different than just happening to "select" a route that is scalehouse free. :)

However, I rufuse to participate in the circle jerk that is the "Inspection Station" in MD at the top of the I495 beltway around DC. That is just plain stupid... they don't even have scales... just pure harassment. I blow by that one almost every time I'm up that way! ;)

Yea, they have something like that on I-70 at the East end of KC right before the KS toll road...I've never bothered stopping.

Same here. I stopped going in there last year and just drive by like most other people. The road is like a bombed out WWII airfield
