Ever deliberately stopped in the middle of the street to make a turn?

It is not libel, slander, or defamation. It's also not anything to take umbrage over. It was a reading error, nothing more.

One lesson I've learned in this world - when a person has beef with everyone and everything, the problem is usually the person and not everyone else.

 

Bud A.'s misquote of my post made me look like the biggest retard and most incompetent truck driver in the world. That makes it libel.

To pull out in front of other motorists who have the right of way and block them when they are only 300 feet away is INSANELY DANGEROUS. The difference between 300 feet and 300 yards in this instance is gargantuan. I don't know if Bud A.'a misquote of me was deliberate or accidental. But even if Bud A. misquoted me accidentally, then he should have went back and reviewed what I actually wrote before he wrote something that made me look like a retard. When a quote is going to make someone look extremely bad, it is absolutely incumbent on a person to be careful enough to quote the person accurately (which Bud A. did not do). And if a person does accidentally misquote someone (making the other person look extremely stupid and incompetent), then the person who misquoted the other person should apologize to the person he misquoted.

Edited to add: P.S. I notice that you thanked Bud A.'s post that misquotes me and (unfairly) makes me look EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT. Is it a sign of integrity to thank someone for a post that misquotes another person and unfairly makes another person look incompetent? Just something to think about.

I have not seen @Bud A. slander anyone in any thread. What he said appears to be a simple reading error, of which anyone can be guilty of at any time! Some posts make such excessive mountains from molehills they can be very difficult to understand what the OP was driving at. I personally have had to read some of these posts multiple times to understand what the point even was. As far as competency, I believe the messages individuals post prove their competency very plainly.

LOL I tend to be very sarcastic, however, there have not been any statements made on here that the OP did not walk headlong into. Ask dumb questions get dumb answers. There’s a lot of really nice people on this message board, but there’s a couple of less than desirable individuals just trolling. I have no idea what I did to get myself on this guys ignore list. Can’t say as I mind though.
