I wouldn’t run them .... but the price is a attention getter.

I knew someone that had a set. They wore out fast and choppy.

Yup. Several guys running them here in Canada.
Chinese made, softer rubber but they get a year out of them.
Their 518 grips are fabulous for winter traction.

I put a set of their deep lug drives on my Paystar one summer because I was hauling on blasted rock and didn't want to ruin expensive tires.
The sidewalls even felt paper thin to the touch. But surprisingly I never had a single flat and they did not chip or cut on the rocks. But as others have said, once I started running the asphalt in the heat of summer they burned off in a year.

I don't mind "experimenting" with drive tires, but I only use Michelin or Bridgestone on my steers.

I don't trust the lower brands for that.

I just bought 8 double coin drives with a similar pattern. Close shoulder. Bought the first 4 off Amazon. UPS man didn't seem to impressed delivering them. 4 others I bought from Walmart. Only had the first 4 on for a week. I run a lot of gravel and stop and go. I didn't get 50,000 out of my last set of name brand open shoulder drives

Well I hope our numbskull mechanic doesn't see this.. or we'll have a bunch of these sitting in the shop waiting on some unsuspecting sucker. Seems like everytime some off brand tire is on sale, that's what we end up with. Glad I'm leaving there soon....
