If you didn't want to get a speeding ticket, you shouldn't have ignored the sign that was twisted to point at the ground and hidden behind the bushes with a small town cop two feet beyond it.

OP hasn’t came back to explain why the hotel wouldn’t resolve this issue for him since he was a paying customer.
I’m wondering if it wasn’t hotel property and he took a chance parking there or if he parked there but wasn’t staying in the hotel and just came back daily to check on his truck. -

It’s a racket. High prices to remove. Towing Co. gives the property Owner s kickback. I’d have no problem destroying their so called property. It’s on my Truck. It’s mine now.

Update I finally got out of there almost got charged for a claim on a late load it took so long was nowhere to come up with $800 cash around there so while I was waiting I looked up some local statutes and found out they violated at least three or four local statutes on boots and got the police involved and also an attorney friend who made some phone calls and they finally just took the boot off and let me go because they were facing losing their license for thousands of dollars in fines. The area I was in had a law where you cannot charge more than $100 to remove a boot on private property from a vehicle and they wanted 800 bucks they also didn't put the proper sign on the side of the vehicle and their signs about towing were not visible from all entrances. If you got the time to fight this stuff sometimes it's worth it what a headache but at least I saved 800 bucks

These guys were really rude and aggressive two guys showed up with vests wearing these big tasers strapped to their chest and they were all aggressive telling me to hurry up or they're going to tow it off and charge me $1,300. And they absolutely would not budge on the price and would only take cash for payment. This was before I got the authorities involved and an attorney friend

A couple of real sweethearts, vests, tasers, and no patience.
All for a parked truck. I don't think ZVar reads the news regarding the extortion going on by people claiming to be tow companies and how often this goes on. I'm glad you did some research and ultimately won against those scumbags.
I think you should post exactly where this happened so everybody knows and things like this can be prevented.W923, Coffey, Gearjammin' Penguin and 8 others Thank this. -
