Off topic but do you ride a motorcycle. You keep using cagers and that is a term riders use

I can tell you 100%, at the big companies, its the constant harassment and deletion of safety bonus's. Also in the early days of these systems, the recording of sleeper berth activities. Maybe it will be a learning curve, to bring acceptance to these systems. I would like to think my company is being sensible with them, however some "idea's" are starting to float around, like turning the sensitivity of the event reporting up to 11.

Bloody nightmare to find a happy medium everyone can be happy with.

That is bullcrap if they are doing that.

I'm a small company, 30 trucks, consider my drivers friends, and my aim is to help them, not harm them.
No crash, i don't look at the camera footage.

 

That is great and I use it too as does everyone I know that rides

 

Over half of my employees ride, we often ride together to.
My employees as mentioned are not just a number on a spread sheet.
They are friends, we eat meals together, motorbike, snowmobile, ski, fish, and more together.
I'm not into tech at all.
My drivers came to me asking for cameras. Then a few years later I got around to installing them.
My team is a great group, and the cameras are to cover their ###, not get them in trouble.

My drivers, mechanics, accountants, dispatchers, pit staff, all tend to call 4 wheel vehicles cages or cagers, so that is what i hear all day at work, so I forget that most truck drivers probably don't use the term.
This year i picked myself up a new Honda 450L Dualsport, having a blast on it.
This spring i bought a BMW r1250rt for trips, good times on it as well.
