Sherwin Williams sells a 2 part industrial macro, proxy that I have been using for 20 years . It comes in every color but bright white and 2 gallons is 160 bucks and with reducer to spray it you would have 200 bucks into a 2 half gallons of industrial epoxy paint.

Buy a 100 dollar hvlp spray gun and a few disposable driers and rent a compressor.

Spend a day sanding and scuffing your old paint with maybe feathering where the paint is lifting and priming and resanding those areas.

If the paint is just faded tape the vehicle off and after practice ing spraying some other pieces hit the truck,.
Easy way to do it is sections at a time, cover the lower sections in plastic and hit all the horizontal surfaces.

Wait a Cale days and cover the horizontal surfaces and do the rest one side at a time to keep a wet edge coat going.

Worst you can do is make it shiny.

All seriousness it is not that hard to spray a vehicle and you don't need to do it inside, I have sprayed a few very large boats outside , pick you days and weather,.

If you screw it up run with it until you can sand out the runs or dry areas and tape it off and respray it

    It's a commercial truck not a Ferrari.

I can respect that. And to a degree,.. I follow your same principle. Not in the same league as you,.. mine does how ever see the truck wash at least 2 - 3 times a month. I cant stand the filth and grime the collects on everything. Dirty glass is a pet peeve of mine,.. almost OCD about it.

If I were like you, in that my name was on the door and everything revolved around me,.. I would probably do more to have my truck reflect that aspect. I'm not in a position to do that and economically its not feasible for me at this point in my business plan. I am working to get to where you are,. and I would like to have that nice shiny long nose. I will eventually reach that point. Reality is I own a 2005 Columbia. There is only so much you can do before anything else is like tossing $100 bills down the toilet.

Hurst, no amount of money can make a Columbia look good. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it keeps my money in the bank and not at the chrome shop in wildwood.

I named him Fred. My wife calls him the ugly Pug dog. Just no love for the work horse of the family.

He's a trooper though. Ugly as he is,.. he's like a good reliable old dog. Always there when you need him.

I've got a few things I want to do before I move on to another truck. I mention them to my wife and she gives me this blank stare,.. like why? LOL

There are some nice decked out big sleeper trucks that pull dry van for Landstar, Mercer, & Foward Air. There's a lot of them with Foward Air
